t1300 cpu swap for t2050 on my ibm t60

i have a ibm t60 laptop with a t1300 solo core chip 667 fsb i tried to swap for a duo core t 2050 533fsb chip and i get random system shutdown/crashing

t2050 is not marked as an option on ibm list of upgrades of cpu. i have 667memory in my laptop tried to swap for 533 still problems. is there a fix or the chip just not compatible?

anyone know about this???

Not compatible probably there is no microcode for the t2050 in the BIOS
