Hey,

I'm having issues while playing Fortnite where the game crashes. Epic games says SDIV behavior needs to be set to intel fail safe, however I can't find it in the bios.

I have the gigabyte Z790 AUROS ELITE AX.

Bios version: FF

SPECS:

cpu: intel core i9 13th gen 13900ks
gpu: gigabyte OC 4090
Ram: 64 gb ddr5 6000 mhz
PSU: be quiet 1600 watt
M.2: 8 tb divided in 4 drives 2 TB each
(Virus scan in progress ...)

Here is the manual of your bios: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_intel700series-bios_e.pdf?v=aceb9fb3f69cc73ea6b2fddd6a6f34ed but I could not find it. If that is the situation, I suggest you contact gigabyte because they know their bios better.

Fortnite DX11 is normally OK, there can be issues with the DX12 version. This is to do with the decompression of game assets such as textures. One potential fix is that you should be able to fix the maximum speed of your CPU P-cores in the BIOS. Try setting these to 5.3GHz and see if this makes any difference. If would be helpful if you still get issues to take a screenshot of the error message and post it here.
