Hello,
I have a new 10" tablet (1920x1080) with a x5-z8300 CPU and the following problem, that all Windows 10 animations like switching windows, opening apps, swiping around the task bar and so on are "laggy" or frames are being dropped. Newest HD drivers are being installed (4425), the problem also existed with the previous driver which came with Windows 10, also Windows 10 is freshly installed.
I also own a 8" tablet, a Dell Venue 8 Pro with z3740 CPU and all animations are silky smooth.
Would be nice if someone can help me out with identifying whats the problem.

Hello klumsch:
Please try the following graphics driver, it is version 4474, and it might be able to fix the problem with Windows® 10 animations:

Please let me know the results.
Any questions, please let me know.

Hello! Thank you for the tip, Ive installed those beta drivers, sadly it didn't change anything. Any other ideas how to identify the problem? I don't think it's normal because z3740 is on the same CPU lvl as 8300 but 8300 has even a better GPU, so Windows animations should be smooth, no? They are on my Desktop, my laptop and also on my Venue 8 Pro. I can swipe around, switch windows as fast and much I want on my Venue and the animations always stay at 60fps, no lag, no dropped frames. I read somewhere it could be related to (too) aggressive or buggy Intel DPTF drivers? I have version 8.1.10900.175 installed.

Hello klumsch:
Please try the following graphics driver, this time the driver version is 4463, and should work for Cherry Trail processors like Atom™ x5-Z8300 Processor that is the one you have:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26078/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88355 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26078/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88355
Please let me know the results of installing that driver.
Any questions, please let me know.

I had a mistake in my original thread, the one which was installed was already 4463, not 4425. So, both 4463 and the beta 4474 did not solve the issue.

Hello klumsch:
Thank you very much for that information.
The drivers provided previously on this thread were given as an option in order to try to fix this problem.
If the drivers 4463 and 4474 did not work, then the next thing to do will be to get in contact directly with the manufacturer of the tablet, just to check if they have the actual graphics driver or a generic driver to make it work properly.
Any questions, please let me know.
