Hi All,

I have a toshiba laptop which was originally fitted with a yonah 1.66MHz CPU,the laptop failed and I replaced the mainboard with an original toshiba board, however the problem was not resolved it seems likely that the CPU has died and I am looking to find a suitable candidate, being well technical but not a nerd?? I am hoping someone can tell me what I may be able to use without any modification (new or used) especially as this is a now older type of Processor.

In this case, since the compatibility is determined by the laptop / motherboard manufacturer, you need to contact them so they can provide you a list of fully supported processors for your particular laptop / motherboard.

Keep in mind that the compatibility is not determined by the processor manufacturer.
