10M02DCV36I7G High current from VCCIO supply

Hi,

I'm using 10M02DCV36I7G with the following voltages:

VCCA2,VCCA3 - 2.5V

VCC - 1.2V

VCCIO1_2_8, VCCIO 3_5_6 - 3.3V

When turning on the voltages, even before programming the device, I see 500 mA current draw from 3.3V supply and regulators voltage drops to 2.97V.

The voltages of the 2.5V and 1.2V regulators increase to 2.7 and 1.3 V. So i assume the current from 3.3 supply goes there. When disassembling the FPGA, there is no current draw.

When changing VCCIO to 2.5V , current consumption is lower, but still high (about 80mA).

With both configurations I was able to program the FPGA, it didn't change the current consumption.

Thanks,

Leonid

Hi Leonid,

May I know how you connect all the voltage regulator to the power pin?

Can you share the schematic?

Regards,

Aqid
