5CEFA5U19I7N FPGA Country of Origin Change

During the initial low-rate production and qualification of one our system products, the design contained several products from Intel. As we prepare to ramp up to full-rate production, we noted that the country of origin (COO) for the following part changed for the latest material we procured:

5CEFA5U19I7N FPGA      Old COO: Korea        New COO: Taiwan.

In order to evaluate the system qualification requirements defined by our customer, we need to verify that the design, material, construction, performance and manufacturing processes are the same as the previously qualified parts. Manufacturing processes include plating, mold compounds, lead frames, die attach material and test coverage. We also need to verify that there are no changes to the data sheet affecting a form, fit or function due to the change in manufacturing location. Please provide feedback on these items at your earliest convenience to enable a timely response to our customer.

Thanks and best regards,

Doug

The 5CEFA5U19I7N was too expensive to buy from digikey  Mouser, now my supplier is cheaper and original, and I can pay after the goods arrive.
