ARM - DS-5 vs Keil MDK ?

Hello,

We are planning to use Arraia V as multiprocessors with both ARM and Nios on same FPGA.

As to ARM, it will run simulink generated code and use etherenet communication.

Now, I'm puzzled as to which IDE I should use:

1. Keil MDK-ARM - seems as a better choice in terms of the generated simulink code tools.

or

2. DS-5 - seems that is the offer from Altera

Are both options possible using Arria V, i.e. for example can I use the Keil jtag to connect to ARM on Arria V.

Thank you for any suggestions and feedback,

Ran

My Friend,

I would say this is just a personal choice. If the cost of both IDE package is about the same or not a huge concern, using an Altera's Arraia V with Altera's IDE choice DS-5 would be a more secured choice as you can get them to be your technical backup support already. Haha...
