Arria V / ALTTEMP_SENSE / linearity

Hello

I just started making use of the internal temperature sensor of my Arria V StarterKit and played around with it a little (stabilisation of temperature over time coming from lower or higher temperatures).

My expected behaviour would be similar to a C charging/discharging curve, i.e. monotonous increasing length of staying at each temperature value until eventually stabilizing.

However, I'm observing, that some temperature values (always the same ones) stay significantly longer than expected and their length is actually NOT monotonously increasing. Not necessarily relevant, but the "longer" values always have bits (1:0) equal to "11".

My Setup: clk = 70 MHz, divider = 80, measurement every 5 ms, in between ce=0, clr=1 (power save), holding the last value for readout. SignalTap shows long-time measurement, displaying each valid measured temperature just once.

Are there any linearity issues known in ALTTEMP_SENSE of Arria V?

Anyone made similar experience?
