CPLD programming using embedded microprocessor

I wish to program MAX V CPLD usind an embedded microprocesssor.For so,I have assigned four GPIO pin of my processor as JTAG signalling pins TCK,TDI,TDO,TMS.How can these 4 pins be used to program CPLD?
