Configuration file size

hey,

what should be a typical size of a configuration file (I means to the size it use in the flash, in order to decide what flash size should I use and if I can put more than one configuration file in it..)?

Is it depends on the specific device? Or in how many of the device resources were used?

Is it making any scene that a cofiguration files use about 17 mega bytes of the flash?

Thanks ahead!

It does depend on the device. You will have to check in the datasheet to see how large the configuration file will be. The configuration file size does not change with utilization.

Thanks

Configuration file of the largest Arria-10 chip is 42.8MBytes.

The data is in Table 78 on page 83 in a10_datasheet.pdf

Thanks,

Thanks for the sharing in this post. I never aware that the configuration file size info is available in the datasheet.
