I 'm about to start new hardware project development. It is fpga related project. So far I selected Cyclone 5 Soc device. What I need to know is lifetime of Cyclone 5 soc family. Is it nearly end of life time or there is production planned for next 5 up to 10 years.

Need to know before I start project.

Hi Adam, The Cyclone V devices were just introduced in recent years and they are still recommended for new design. The life cycles of these devices are depending on its ordering volume. You can subscribe to our customer notification mailing list as below so that you can be notified when any of Intel FPGA going to be discontinued: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/quality-and-reliability/pcns-and-advisories.html#pdn Thank you
