Hello,
I need an Altera FPGA supporting PCI Bus. Cyclone IV and Cyclone V families support PCI 3.0-V. Claiming supporting PCI Specification 2.2. The PCI Specification is "3.3V Signaling Environment", nothing about 3.0V. What does PCI 3.0-V mean?. Can I connect a Cyclone V PCI 3.0V FPGA to a PCI 3.3V standard device?. Regards. PeioLink Copied

Are you really trying to implement a parallel PCI bus interface, not PCI Express?

Yes, PCI parallel bus.

From a quick read of the Cyclone IV and Cyclone V handbooks my take is that both families can interface with a 3.3V PCI bus using the 3.0-V PCI I/O standard with VCCIO at 3.0V. Obviously you have to convince yourself of that. Altera should be able to confirm either way.
