Cyclone V E PCIe Connections

I'm hoping to set up CvP on a Cyclone V E FPGA, and I am looking for information on how to connect the FPGA to a PCIe connector. Can I connect the transceiver pins on the FPGA directly to the edge connector, and if so, which transceiver pins should I use? Is there any documentation that outlines which connections are necessary?

If anyone could point me toward a reference schematic, that would be hugely appreciated. I have been unable to find schematics for any of the Cyclone V development boards with PCIe, but perhaps I am looking in the wrong place.

Thanks!

Hie,

My apologies for the delay in my first repsonse.

I am sorry to inform that Cyclone V E FPGA does not have a PCIe hard IP to support CvP. If you looking to use CvP, the you will need to use Cyclone V devices with transceivers which is Cyclone V GX,GT,ST and SX.

This information in available in the overview chapter below:

Please let me know if you will like to me to recommend another development board that support CvP. if yes, you may consider Cyclone V GX development kit.

Do let me know if you have further follow up questions.

Regards,

Nathan
