CycloneV-SoC: ALM <=> LEs

Dear Forum,

in the CycloneV device overview the 5CSXFC5 has 85k LEs and 32,070 ALMs. When I do a compilation of my design, only the ALM utilization is shown in the report.

What is the relationship between them?

Is there a thump-rule to calculate the LEs from utilized ALMs?

Thanks in advance!

Logic elements (LEs) are the basic building block of conventional FPGAs. As devices become more sophisticated and vendor-specific, LEs carry less meaning. In Stratix10, the ratio of ALM to LE is around 2.95 and this varies depending on the device families. Hope this answers.
