Hi,
I've designed my own Altera FPGA board for personal use. The following is the detail specification: FPGA: Cyclone IV GX EP4CGX150DF31 Memory: FLASH, SSRAM Config.: EPCS128 only(USB Blaster port) Reference: Altera cycloneIVGX_4cgx150_fpga evalutaion board I'm making is similar to the Altera demo board except DDR2 and MAX II. When I omit them, are there any problems running NIOS II on the board?Link Copied

If there will be SSRAM left, then no. Remember that You need memory to run Nios CPU.
