EPM570T100C5N Voltage Question

Hi,

We're looking to use the EPM570T100C5N (Max 2) chip. I noticed when we went to purchase it, the supplier said it took a 3.3V input in their catalog but on their website it said 1.8V. Some documentation on this site said the chip has a regulator inside of it so it may be able to accept 3.3 V. Does anyone know if it can safely handle 3.3V or does it need 1.8V?

Thanks,

Joe

The Hardware Handbook tells:

MAX II devices have an internal linear voltage regulator which supports external supply voltages of 3.3 V or 2.5 V, regulating the supply down to the internal operating voltage of 1.8 V. MAX IIG and MAX IIZ devices only accept 1.8 V as the external supply voltage.
