Hello,
I need to enable the Projected SEU FIT by Component Usage Report of Quartus Prime 18.1.
I added the following assignments to the .qsf file of the project as it is said in the Quartus Prime Standard Edition Handbook.
- set_global_assignment –name ENABLE_ADV_SEU_DETECTION ON
- set_global_assignment –name SEU_FIT_REPORT ON
However, Quartus deletes the assigments before compiling since it does not recognize them.
According to the handbook, a SEU license needs to be installed, but I do not find any documentation about where to find the license and how to install it.
Can you help me with this topic?
Additionally, could you give me the raw FIT SEU for the Cyclone V - 5CEFA5F23I7 FPGA?
Thank you in advance.

Hello
Welcome to INTEL forum. Based on my understanding, you must have a licensed version of Intel Quartus Prime software to generate SEU FIT report. Refer to https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ug/ug_altadvseu.pdf#page=24
You could contact our distributor for SEU FIT license request. Please find the contact for our sales and distributor near you from link below:

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
We were working with Quartus Prime Lite Edition, based on your response, we need Quartus Prime Standard or Pro, am I right? Or we need a specific license for SEU FIT.
Additionally, we have been trying to obtain the Intel FPGA Reliability Report to obtain more information about SEU Failure Rates. It seems that this document is not accesible. Could you help me with this?
