Error: Can't access JTAG chain

using cyclone v quartus prime lite 16.0

 

I has been trying to program FPGA but the code is not dump showing some error like can't access JTAG

 

But i tried in another fpga board code have dumped successfully

 

i hope there is no problem in the side of JTAG , I don't know where the problem is coming

 

please let me know where the bug is receiving

Hi @Aravindpb​ 

 

The issue may be due to

  1. JTAG header pins. Check your jtag header pins for ground short or misplacing it.
  2. Power supply. check the power supplies and its connection are following the recommended values as stated in the respective device handbook. 
  3. pull-up & pull-down connected to the JTAG pins are following the recommended values as stated in the respective device handbook.
