Flat design and partial reconfiguration (PR) Arria 10 SoC

Hello,

I have an Arria 10 SoC board, instead of using the default linux GHRD and partial reconfiguration (early release) i used a full configuration or a flat design approach to use all of the board resource,

i have conserved the default SDcard and created a new one for the flat design (means two SD cards), now some time i need to switch between the new one and the default one but when am switching from the full configuration to the early release, a lot of errors appear at linux boot up so i keep restarting the board until eventually it starts,

so what i'm asking is , is it dangerous to keep switching ? can it harm the board ? should i work on a single approach ?

Thank you
