Hello,
I'm a university student and my research lab was donated a DE5 Stratix V FGPA (5SGXEA7N2F45C2). However, it came with no data sheets, manuals, startup guides, etc (I had to guess what board we have based on its picture). I was wondering if anyone could help getting started. I have tried the simple led counter, but it is difficult to compile and run because I don't know what the right pin assignments are for clock, led's, etc. I haven't been able to find any documentation on FPGA pin layouts, either. If you could provide this info and a brief guide on how to design programs using Quartus 2, I would highly appreciate it!- Tags:

There are several boards that use that part. For example Terasic's DE5-Net. Terasic's web site has the CD with documentation and examples for that board.
I don't know where to get the documentation for the Altera Stratix V development board.- Mark as New
