I would like to know if these two CPLD's are pin for pin compatible. EPM3064ATI100-10N EPM7064AETI100-7N I think the first one on obsolete and I need a replacement for an old design. Thanks Bernie

Hi BBOOS,

Yes, MPN:EPM3064ATI100-10N is already obsolete.

MPN:EPM7064AETI100-7N seems to be good replacement part for MPN:EPM3064ATI100-10N.

But there are few difference in both parts, major difference are 'Delay Time tpd(1) Max'.

Check the below link for difference according to Digikey.

Is there an alternate compatible with the EPM3064ATI100-10N that has the same specifications and pin to pin relation? I see the posting from back in 2018 and was wondering if I could get a little more details on the differences between the EPM7064AETI100-7N and the EPM3064ATI100-10N or if there is a better substitution available now. Thanks

Unfortunately both those parts are now obsolete / EOL from Intel.

If you absolutely need a fit/form/function compatible device look at the Microchip/Atmel ATF1504ASV CPLD series.

It is a production part that is readily available, and they offer tools to convert the Altera POF file to the Atmel JED file for programming.

Not an Intel solution, but Intel has EOLed any F/F/F compatible solutions.
