I am trying to following the instructions here to install the Intel Acceleration Stack runtime:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683394/2-0-1/installing-the-runtime-package-on-the.html

The first instruction is to install extract the archive file:

rte_installer.tar.gz

Where would I find this tarball, I don't see

Hi Craig,

Thanks for using Intel Forums. As for the question , the tarball file is the older acceleration stack installer. There's a link further top on the getting started there, but unfortunately I think the acceleration stack bundle already been remove since OFS already replaces it.

Just want to confirm that you want to use the old acceleration stack and not the new OFS?

Thanks

For the old acceleration stack, you can download the package here

Thank you for the link, greatly appreciated.

We are trying to get some older software that was developed with earlier versions of the software working.  As we are running into lots of issues we have set up a VM using an older CentOS 7.9.2009 OS and hope to try the old acceleration stack on that, while also trying to see if we can get the same code working on a more modern system with OFS.

Cheers,

Craig
