Intel Agilex Device - Ethernet Support

Hello,

We would like to use Intel Agilex ( AGFA012R24C2E1V) for a project. One of the requirement is to invoke NIOS II and communicate with host PC using 1G Ethernet. The Triple Speed Ethernet IP says that Agilex family has only preliminary support. Does this mean 1G Ethernet is not validated in Agilex family? Link below.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683402/22-1-20-0-0/device-family-support.html

Thanks

Hi,

For your information, Agilex device family support for 1G ethernet but it can be used in production designs with caution.

For the preliminary support, the IP is verified with preliminary timing models for this device family. The IP meets all functional requirements, but might still be undergoing timing analysis for the device family.

Best regards,

Zi Ying
