Hi,

device family MAX7000AE can be considered as an equivalent for MAX3000A family in general. There is EPM7256AETC144-10N device with similar features and pinout as the mentioned device from EPM3000A family. But I assume the rest of old CPLD device families such as MAX7000AE will be obsolete in near future. There are newer device families as MAX V or MAX 10 recommended for new designs.

Regards,

Martin

Hi Yanyan,

Thank you for contacting Intel community.

According to PDN 1709 (link below), EPM3256ATC144-10N was obsolete since Sept 2018. Customer is recommended to use our latest MAX devices which are MAX II, MAX V, and MAX 10 for new design.
