JTAG Instruction for Security Modes

i would like to know the JTAG secure instructions such as OTP_VOLKEY_SECURE or EXT_JTAG_SECURE and how to program it to the Arria 10 .

Hi,

 

Tamper Protection security mode allows only encrypted bitstream to program the FPGA only, meanwhile for JTAG Security mode, it allows the access of JTAG to certain feature only.

I meant the i want to know the instructions codes for the above table for example KEY_VERIFY Instruction Code would be : 00 0001 0011

You will need to use follow the guide to burn the fuse for each setting or using Qcrypt tool to enable all of these design security modes. The Qcrypt tool provides an impermanent solution compared to the burning the fuse which has the one-time programming limitation.
