Hi,

I'm integrating a MAX V 5M80ZE64C5N CPLD in Altium Designer, but I'm having dificult in designing the 64-pin EQFP package.

Does anyone have the schematic with footprint, or just the footprint of this package?

I think the footprint is identical to PQFP package, although I miss the dimensions to use in IPC Footprint Wizard.

Kind regards

if you can import Cadence or Mentor footprints, Altera provides them:

http://www.altera.com/download/board-layout-test/pcb/pcb-cadence.html

https://www.altera.com/download/board-layout-test/pcb/pcb-mentor-graphics.jsp

or else there's the Packaging Datasheet, see page 83:

Thank you.

I've searched for that specifications but didn't find.

I've already tried to import the cadence footprint to Altium but it just don't do nothing. It allows me to open that type of file, but don't do nothing.

Kind regards

i was looking at the "PDF pages" 83-84 of the Packaging Datasheet. the information is on the "Altera numbered pages" 85-86. between the table and the package outline you should have all of the information you need, right?

between that and the Pin Out files you should be able to build schematic symbols and footprints for your part:

Hi,

Yes all the information to generate the footprint is on the Packaging Datasheet, I was looking on the wrong places...

And the Pin Out PDF as the remaining information to build the symbol.

Thank you very much for the information and the fast response!

Kind regards

I am having issues with a footprint as well. Does anyone know where I can find the suggested PCB Footprint for the Cyclone III 144 device, EP3C5E144C8N?

Thank You!
