- Problem description: Obelix (ALC3-1AB310260004_REP ) HW init failed; Obelix FPGA_ID and FPGA_Date are wrong
- Detected by: Customer field failure, failure confirmed by factory tests
- Quantity Affected: 1 PC
- Failure Message: “Card Failure – device” at 25°C
- Flex or Nokia analysis:
This unit failed in field at customer with “Card failure – device” alarm. Flex factory tests confirmed the failure: failed with same alarm and DAC and SFI Tx frequencies are "Out of Range", OTN OOF, OTN LOF, SERDES Rx A and B LOCK and many SFIS Rx alarms active at Channels 1 and 2. The issue is caused by Obelix component (PN: ALC3-1AB310260004_REP, MPN: 5SGXMA7N2F4513N): Obelix HW init failed, Obelix FPGA_ID and FPGA_Date are wrong.
Replacing the component solved the problem and card passed factory tests.
