I am working on a custom board win which I have used MAX V cpld. While designing process I can upload a image of cpld program using USB Blaster. I am not able to figure out the solution for the problem which I will face when I deploy my board in a remote location and I have to update my CPLD. My aim is to update my CPLD when it is deployed, from a remote desktop. Guys please suggest some solution. Thanks in advance.Link Copied

Hi,
Check for “Using the Quartus II Software to Program Via a Remote JTAG Server” from the following link, http://www1.cs.columbia.edu/~sedwards/classes/2009/4840/intro_to_quartus2.pdf Refer following links, https://alteraforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14582 https://www.doulos.com/knowhow/fpga/remote_programming/ Let me know if this has helped resolve the issue you are facing or if you need any further assistance. Sir the issue is at remote location system is not available. So we are planning to send image file of CPLD, i.e. of format .jam, .jbc or .svf , which is going to be stored in the on-board flash memory. Thus Remote jtag-server is not going to our problem. Do you know how to solve this issue this using JAM STAPL PLAYER

The problem isn't really clear. You need some kind of JTAG programmer at the remote site, either connected to a PC or an embedded processor. What do you have?
