Maxplus 10.2 + Byteblaster

Dear Community,

I 've Maxplus + 10.2 with Byteblaster and a Windows XP Notebook. Many of my things are running with this system.

My old XP Notebook worked great. But now it doesn't work anymore and I do the programming with the notebook of a friend of mine (He also has XP, Maxplus + 10.2 and Byteblaster). The problem is, that he is far away from me (many hours).

So I tried to install a new XP notebook.my

I installed Mayplus + 10.2 Full and the drivers from the original CD. Then I added Windows Hardware while the Byteblaster is running - Audio/Video/gaming - and selected the Windows 2000 driver from Maxplus +. The Windows driver is there. I think I did it the same way like last time.

But the problem is, that I can't select the programmer in Maxplus +. I can compile my project, but when I go to programmer, it says no hardware and there is no entry for Byteblaster 2, like it is on the notebook of my friend. I think I forgot something. Is there something to do in Maxplus +, that I have the Byteblaster 2 programmer? Everything is connected. When I swith to the notebook of my frind, programming with Byteblaster2 works perfectly, but I can't select it in the software. When I go to Hardware setup, ther is no Byteblaster2 available. Can I add it anyway, or did I anything else wrong? I hope you can help me. Thank you so much and have a great day.

regards,

Andreas

Hello Andreas,

What FPGA you want to program? MAX Plus II has been EOL and there is no support for this.

If you want to program MAX10 and beyond, you may use Quartus softwares. You can try Quartus free version.

Lite version is the free one.
