PLL in IP library constantly crashes (mega function wizzard) for MAX10

We have Quartus V23.1 lite (free one) and the PLL mega function will not work, it keeps crashing on page 5 of 12 and creates an empty *.qip file

for part 10M08  a max10 device

Known problem, just search "pll 23.1". Intel released a patch for std but not yet for lite edition. Present solution is to use PLL IP of previous version.

thanks, it was doing the same thing on V21 as well so I will look into previous versions.
