Please confirm that this GND ball is redundant.

I need to rework a board, and the rework is easier (less risky) if I can remove a ball that appears to be a redundant GND ball. All other GND balls are connected to GND.

The device is 10AX048H3F34E2SG, pin AN16 (GND).

Thanks,

BryanH

Hi Bryan,

Sorry but pls on hold your board rework first.

I found a workaround that maybe able to avoid board rework by using FPGA PLL to send clock to clkusr pin directly via some Quartus hacking method.

I will share more detail with you in our forum discussion thread.

Thanks.

HI Bryan,

I am closing this case as well since you have verified the clkusr workaround in the other case.

Thanks.
