Hi

I am looking for suggestions of PMICs or LDOs for each FPGA family: Agilex, Cyclone, Arria, Stratix. Does Intel have any catalog or documentation on this?

Hi Finees,

Please firstly check this documentation about Agilex 7 and Stratix 10 Voltage Regulator Selection.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/757318/current/guidelines-selecting-the-right-voltage.html

I will check further if there's specific catalog table for Cyclone, Arria as you mentioned.

By the way, can you further specify the device family? For example, do you want the information for Arria 10 or Arria V?

Thanks & Regards,

Xiaoyan

Hi Xiaoyan

Thanks for this information, I will check it out.
As for the device families, I want to know the suggested PMICs or LDOs on the Agilex 7, Arria 10, Arria II, Arria V, Cyclone 10, Cyclone IV, Cyclone V, MAX 10, Stratix 10 and Stratix V.

Regards

Hi Finess,

Sorry for late response. I checked more documentation.

For Agilex 7 and Stratix 10, they must be driven by the PMBus-compliant voltage regulator. Therefore we provided the guide AN974 as in the link I sent in previous comment.

Also, in the chapter "3.2. FPGA Core Fabric VCC Voltage Regulator Selection" of AN910, it listed the verified power regulators for Agilex 7 devices.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683393/current/fpga-core-fabric-vcc-voltage-regulator.html

For older devices (Arria 10, Arria II, Arria V, Cyclone 10, Cyclone IV, Cyclone V, MAX 10 and Stratix V as you mentioned), they do not have PMBus, therefore we do not have specific recommendations.

Thanks & Regards,

Xiaoyan
