Power Supply of the MAX10

I want to use only one switching regulator to supply my complete 10M08SCE144C8G without using the adc feature abd power up all IOs on 3.3V. But in the connection guidlines are always two switchers used to supply VCC_ONE and VCCA seperated from VCCIO. So my question is, do you think it is possible to supply them with only one switcher and decouple them with a simple filter or inductor, like it is done in the following schematic? http://www.m-pression.com/solutions/boards/odyssey/max10-teardown

Thanks for your help

Yes, you can do that.

The only issue is when you want 'Instant-On Support' in which case:

--- Quote Start ---

VCCIO must ramp up to full rail before VCCA and VCC_ONE start ramping.

--- Quote End ---

However, MAX 10 supports Hot Socketing, which benefits from:

--- Quote Start ---

Support for any power-up sequence

--- Quote End ---

Cheers,

Alex
