Hello,
I am using S25FS512SAGNFI011 Nor Flash of Infineon to configure Arria 10 FPGA. S25FS512 is in the supported devices list of Intel, but it is not exist in the Quartus Programmer tool. Therefore, I created the flash first, then generated .jic file from .sof file. When I start the loading the file to the flash, I get the successful result on the tool but the FPGA does not boot up after power cycle.
The settings for generating the file are attached.
I'll be glad if you can help me. Thanks in advance.
Best regards

Hi,
if you are able to program and verify an AS configuration flash through Quartus programmer, it should be only a small step to make the FPGA load the configuration. There are however many possible reasons for failure. Unless configuration is known to work with an officially supported flash device, I'm not even sure if the problem is device related. If you have selected ASx4 mode, you can go one step back and try ASx1 .jic first. Ultimately tap flash interface with a logic analyzer and check how configuration fails.
