Hello,

I found a material to interface an SD card. The link to the document is ftp://ftp.altera.com/up/pub/university_program_ip_cores/90/sd_card_interface_for_sopc_builder.pdf

Could anyone please let me know if this document could be used for DE2i150 board.

Thanks...

At a first glance, yes, but checkmyourmpin names and positions. Maybe some of the IP has been renamed and, depending on your Quartus version, you may not have the SOPC builder, in which case you will have to use Qsys.

Yes, that document is a little old. SOPC has been replaced by Qsys.

You could consider the "sd/mmc spi core (https://www.altera.com/products/intellectual-property/ip/processors-and-peripherals/m-elc-sd-mmc-spi.html)" IP (third party, also a little old). However, you should just as easily be able to use Altera's own Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) IP to interface to an SD card. At least that is current.

Cheers,

Alex
