Smart compilation option is disabled for Arria V GT series?

Hi 

I want to modify memory content without compiling the complete project. But when I try to use 'Rapid compilation' option in "Settings-Compilation Process Settings-Incremental compilation- Rapic compile", it seems disabled. 

Is this device or FPGA related problem or do I have follow some steps to enable it?

Hi, 

I tried this with Cyclone3 Part (Full version- Quartus-12.1-sp1-32bit-windows) 

"greyed out"  

Same problem! - It starts compiling from Synthesis, map,,,etc.

you should do what you want directly: update the memory initialization files, go to Processing > Update Memory Initialization File, then go to Processing > Start > Assembler
