Stratix IV security anti tamper fuse

Hi,

We have multiple cards using a Stratix IV device. Lately we've seen a few devices have the anti tamper fuse get set accidentally. This reduces the functionality of the card for our application. I would like to prevent this from happening on more cards. Our JTAG chain follows Altera recommended design. Has anyone seen anything similar? Any suggestions on preventing this from happening would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

As far as I know there only way to trigger the blowing of the anti tamper fuse is via JTAG. User logic can't access the fuses so I'm afraid you may have to monitor your board / external traces to ensure that there is no inadvertent spikes/bounces.
