I have a flash device with NIOS using MAX10, I am sure the design is correct but cannot see the flash after programming the FPGA with pfl.sof and pressing Auto detect.

Hi Galio,

I see you are working now with a flash device connected to MAX 10 correct?

Yes the "Parallel flash loader" is a way to program the flash device. You can find the required info here:

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ug/ug_pfl.pdf

If you still cannot detect the flash, please let me know which flash device you are using. If it is an active serial like EPCQA, the PFL won't be able to detect it and you have to use the SFL "Serial flash loader". you can find the required info here:

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/an/an370.pdf

Thanks a lot for your response. I now understood why it cannot see the EPCQA flash. Actually I am using Cyclone V now.
