Hi,
Where can I find info about MAX V open drain output max. voltage value? Can I drive directy LED ( 3,2V drop voltage at 10 mA) from MAX V open drain output if the LED Anode connected to the +5V power supplier via 150 Ohm resistor ( I assume the output transistor sauraion votage's 0,4V as datasheet says).? During LED off state 5V will be applied to the output transistor drain. Is it OK? BRLink Copied

No. You can't connect an LED directly to the pin in this way. Refer to the 'max v datasheet (https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/max-v/mv51003.pdf)'. Absolute max on a pin is 4.6V let alone the recommended operating conditions of 3.6V max.
Use an external transistor or FET if you want to operate at 5V. Cheers, Alex- Mark as New
