Hello,

This is my first post.

So could you tell me if it's really possible to boot with uClinux on a DE2 board with 8Mo SDRAM and Nios2 with MMU and with the same configuration of hafezi.mahdi.

In a post he writes:"I used DE2-115 as reference but you can use any board that you like".

But for me it's doesn't. I have zimage and started processor.... and Nothing more!http://www.alteraforum.com/forum//images/icons/icon9.png

I use Quartus V13.0sp1 full version and Qsys.

Thank's a lot for you help.

Hello,

i am also new to this hole Nios2 uClinux-Thing. I followed the instructions in his video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxlyezof0rs) and was able to run uClinux. But i had to do a lot of things different.

But if you say, you have the .sof running you have to:

1. start a terminal (like PuTTY) to interact via RS232

2. load the zImage with "nios2-download -g <path>zImage" in the Nios II Command Shell

3. type in "nios2-termianl" to start
