digital alarm clock

we are trying to create a circuit diagram of digital alarm clock with maxplus using fpt3 plus, but we can't figure out how to make it help. 

please help if you can. the smallest things would be a great help.

That board is from the late 1990s or early 2000s. I don't think the modern software supports it any more. You will need a PC running windows XP and you need to find Altera software old enough to support the maxplus. You will also need documentation on the board and any schematics and examples that you can get. Don't spend a lot of time on it unless you have all this. 

 

I'd recommend starting with a current generation dev kit. Nothing older than cyclone IV or max II. These are the oldest chips supported by the current Quartus software. The De0-nano would be a good board to start with. If you get one of the cheaper boards from somewhere else, make sure it has a configuration flash and an oscillator included. These are essential and some boards don't include them to save costs.
