Hi,

Try once after following the below steps.

1. sudo apt install build-essential

2. Installing libpng12

Follow the steps from below link

https://www.altera.com/downloads/software/faq/dnl-v11-download-installation-faq.html#x02

Let me know if this has helped resolve the issue you are facing or if you need any further assistance.

Hi Anand

Thank you for your prompt help

I followed the instructions

1. sudo apt install build-essential

was done sucessfully

2. Installing libpng12

I was also done sucessfully

But the bash command is reporting the same error

I tried <extracted altera installer directory>/bin/altera_installer_cmd --gui

as written in pdf though i can see the _cmd program file (3MB of size) but

i get the error

altera_installer_cmd: Command not found
