Hi everyone, my company is about to buy a Cyclone V GT FPGA Development Board. Does Altera provide .gerber layout files for this board?? It is essential for us to know it.

Thank you in advance guys.

I don't think they do, but you can check out yourself by going to the kit's page (https://www.altera.com/products/boards_and_kits/dev-kits/altera/kit-cyclone-v-gt.html) and download the "Kit Installation" file. It includes all design files, including schematics and layouts, but AFAIK not in the gerber format.

Is there a section like this for the Terasic DE1-SoC Board ?

Hi there,

The design files are proprietary, so I doubt there will be a similar section for it.

May I ask why it's essential ? Could you share the plan and/or purpose with us ?
