i need to design a car park indicator system for a space with 8 lots.

With two gates each entrance to the parking lot And one exit from the parking lot.

Hardware works on the principle of LDR Once the LDR is covered changes something.

it needs to have the following specifications:

a seven-segment display to indicate the number of free lots.

presettable up/down counter

Counter displays the entry and out of cars

each lor has a light which will turn on to indicate that is free

the light should turn off when the lost is occupied

when the lot is filled to the maximun of 8 cars, the seven-segment should display 'F' the indicate it is full.

Once car comes the front gate and LDR covers the gate opens

Once he passed the gate and covers the second LDR gate closes

The same principle also exit.

I need it urgently

Thanks u

Give it a try, than ask if you have problems.

This thread is almost identical to:http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42110. So I see you really need it urgently.

I can give you one hint: make "lego"blocks. So a part for the 7-seg, LDR, etc.

Search the web. There are enough examples there, and there are a few good books about this too.
