terasIC THDB-ADA Daughter card problem

Hi I am working on my masters project and I am using a DE2 board with the THDB-ADA daughter card. I can't seem to get the daughter card to work... I can run the demo that came with it so I know the card works but I can't get it to work with my VHDL program... The demo uses Verilog and I am not very familiar at all with Verilog... I think I decoded all the signals I needed to include to turn the card on and get it working but, obviously it hasn't worked, So does anyone out there have any experience with this Daughter card? I need some help please.... Thanks.
