Accelerate tab not listed in RST

BIOHello All!

So I'm attempting to use RST to set up SRT. I do realize that I need to be running RAID as my SATA mode, but it isn't listed in the BIOS, only AHCI and IDE. The accelerate tab isn't showing up in RST. Is my laptop simply incapable of RAID and therefore SRT?

My machine is:

 

Acer Aspire V3-772G-9829

 

1 TB HDD and 60GB OCZ Vertex SSD

 

Windows 8 on HDD, SSD is clean and not partitioned.

Please help me out, this is driving me nuts.
