Possuo um notebook da empresa Dell, modelo Inspiron 5570 com o componente Tecnologia de armazenamento Intel Rapid, no momento instalado a versão 15.9.0.1015. Utilizo um SSD como cache para acelerar o HD da máquina, SSD M.2 da Western Digital. Ao atualizar para uma versão superior, seja software disponibilizado pela Dell ou pela própria Intel, o Windows (10 Home Single Language) apresenta falhas na inicialização. Ao iniciar na primeira inicialização, o mesmo fica fixado no logo da Dell e ao desligar forçadamente e ligar novamente, o sistema operacional executa normalmente. Quando o sistema é desligado e tento ligar novamente o mesmo processo deve ser feito para que o Windows consiga carregar. Realizei o downgrade para a versão 15.9.0.1015 da Tecnologia de armazenamento Intel Rapid e o problema foi solucionado, porém tenho em notebook um gerenciador de drivers que persiste em atualizar o software para uma versão acima da 15.9.0.1015, fazendo com que o problema volte a ocorrer.

Indeed the information provided by @n.scott.pearson is correct. Also, I think is worth mentioning that this is not a problem since the feature has been removed from newer versions of the software.
The latest Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) version that supports Intel® SRT is Intel® RST 15.9.
You can confirm this information by accessing to the Release Notes of Intel® RST version 15.9.8.1050 (page 11 under Terminology).

This is because Intel SRT, which supports using a SSD as a HDD cache, was dropped after this version of the Intel RST software. V16.0 or newer has no support for Intel SRT.
Unfortunately, I see no reason for this other than Intel trying to force people to purchase Optane modules. Greed drives the world...😡
