Hola tengo un motherboard asus p5b deluxe (p965 + ich8r) con 3 discos en una matriz con raid 5 y raid 0 y windows 7 64
Al actualizar con el ultimo software v.11.7.0.1013 se produce un error en el booteo de la PC indicando un error en el controlador raid
Arrancando desde un cd de recuperacion y reseteando (sin apagar) logro mantener el driver y arranco la pc sin problemas.
Logro instalar nuevamente del driver v.8.9.0.1023. Apago y prendo. Todo bien pero en el area de notificacion se me indica "el servicio intel rst no esta en ejecucion"
1- la version 11.7.0.1013 se indica que es para el ich8r pero el readme.txt no aparece detallado.
2- reinstale nuevamente el IATA89CD.exe y no logro solucionar el mensaje "el servicio intel rst no esta en ejecucion"

Latest versions of Intel® Rapid Storage Technology provide support for the later Intel® PCH and ICH SATA controllers. Taking under consideration that the Intel® 82801HR/HH/HO I/O controller hub (ICH8R) is a mature platform, it would not be compatible with the latest versions of Intel® Rapid Storage Technology. In this case I suggest you to use a more according version such as version 10.6
