There seems to have been an update to the Intel Rapid Storage Technology User Interface and Driver Downloads Page:
Now there is only the option to download the SetupRST.exe. Previously there was a F6flpy-x64-Non-VMD.zip and F6flpy-x64-VMD.zip. These are required to load the F6 drivers during the Windows Setup Screen and the zip format is particularly important when creating Windows Installation Media on another Operating System such as Ubuntu.

Yes unzip this and put unzipped directory inside the bootable usb or different usb
Then install the windows if error occurred for driver not found then go to browse button on that error screen then browse your usb and select "VMD" directory from unzip data

Bonjour,
Cdrlmt ,
Pierre.

Hello @PhilipYip
Direct link
https://downloadmirror.intel.com/779370/RST-F6-19.5.2.1049.4.zip
Or take last RST driver and with powershell extract it
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000094664/technologies/intel-rapid-storage-technology-intel-rst.html
Open the terminal in the directory with SetupRST.exe by right-clicking the directory and selecting Open in Terminal or Open PowerShell here. If the options for CMD or Powershell* are not enabled, find each one to proceed with step 2:
For Powershell:
Open a PowerShell* window as an administrator
Navigate to the location of SetupRST.exe file >PS c:\windows\system32> cd “c:\users\Intel\downloads\
For CMD:
Open a cmd window as an administrator.
Navigate to the location of SetupRST.exe file > c:\windows\system32> cd c:\users\Intel\downloads\
Enter the following command: ./SetupRST.exe -extractdrivers SetupRST_extracted.

But this shouldn't be a thing.
On HP laptops with windows home. I am absolutely fricked without those drivers, no way to turn off vmd in the bios. no way.
I've even had an HP representative tell me that i shouldn't need to disable vmd.
All i can say is if you're buying a hp laptop and have to reload it. Good luck! I have even tried to load the drivers and sometimes they fail to load.
So thanks INTEL.
