A few weeks back I installed the RST driver from my motherboard manufacturer. My motherboard is about 3-4 years old and the newest RST driver didn't seem to work with my system. I gotsni an error message from the RST stating that my "system detected one or more errors, and data may be lost," however the drive showed up OK and everything was accessible (I did try to understand the errors by checking the RST desktop application but it didn't provide any additional information, and didn't even list the RAID). A short time ago, I received a new message from the RST to the effect that my RAID 0 drive had errors and has been removed. I can no longer access the drive, nor does it even show up. Any ideas why I may have been experiencing errors and how I can recover my data or get my PC to recognize the drive again?

arcadioantrez: I just received an update in this matter, based on the report you gave us, the SATA mode is set to AHCI, and for the Intel® RST and for a RAID configuration to work, it needs to be set to RAID.
Also, the version of Intel® RST that supports Windows® 10 does not support the chipset installed on your computer.
The best thing to do in this case will be to set the SATA mode to RAID, then re-install Windows® 8.1 or an older operating system and create the RAID from scratch.
